Top 5 Technologies in 2019 : https://youtu.be/aCY1GyKVpBw Python Tutorial for Beginners: https://goo.gl/cLKYQP 5 skills for IT Professional: https://goo.gl/ba6Ui7 Top 5 technologies to learn in 2018. Technologies are : IoT (Internet of Things) Cloud Computing Blockchain Artificial Intelligence Big Data IoT : The Internet of things (IoT) is the network of physical devices, vehicles, home appliances and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity which enables these objects to connect and exchange data. The IoT allows objects to be sensed or controlled remotely across existing network infrastructure. Cloud Computing: Cloud computing enables ubiquitous access to shared pools of configurable system resources and higher-level services that can be rapidly provisioned with minimal management effort, often over the Internet. Cloud computing relies on sharing of resources to achieve coherence and economy of scale, similar to a utility. Third-party clouds enable organizations to focus on their core businesses instead of expending resources on computer infrastructure and maintenance. Cloud providers typically use a "pay-as-you-go" model. Blockchain: A blockchain is a continuously growing list of records, called blocks, which are linked and secured using cryptography which is resistant to modification of the data. Each block typically contains a hash pointer as a link to a previous block, a timestamp and transaction data. Blockchains are secure by design and are an example of a distributed computing system The first blockchain was conceptualized in 2008 by an anonymous person or group known as Satoshi Nakamoto and implemented in 2009 as a core component of bitcoin where it serves as the public ledger for all transactions. Artificial intelligence: AI is intelligence displayed by machines. In computer science, AI research is defined as the study of "intelligent agents": any device that perceives its environment and takes actions that maximize its chance of success at some goal. Colloquially, the term "artificial intelligence" is applied when a machine mimics "cognitive" functions that humans associate with other human minds, such as "learning" and "problem-solving Big Data: Big data is data sets that are so voluminous and complex that traditional data processing application software is inadequate to deal with them. Big data challenges include capturing data, data storage, data analysis, search, sharing, transfer, visualization, querying, updating and information privacy. There are three dimensions to big data known as Volume, Variety and Velocity. Editing Monitors : https://amzn.to/2RfKWgL https://amzn.to/2Q665JW https://amzn.to/2OUP21a. THROUGHPUT (SPEED in MBPS) CALCULATION IN 4G LTE In this video we have shown 4 methods by which throughput can be calculated in LTE and how various factors affect the actual throughput that an end user experiences. - 1. First we have calculated using Shanon Hartley Formula and Nyquist's Sampling theory. Which is a generic formula and can be used for any wireless commumication, be it GSM/2G or LTE/4G. 2. Secondly we have tried to calculate the throughput using a more LTE Specific technique. We tried calculating from Resource Element perspective. 3. However there are several other factors that affect the throughput. One of them is the overheads that are being. So in third method we have shown how the IP layer throughput varies from the physical layer throughput. 4. For the fourth method one can refer to 3GPP document 36.213, Table 184.108.40.206-1, Table 220.127.116.11.1-1 and Table 18.104.22.168.2-1 for more accurate calculations of capacity. Table 22.214.171.124-1 shows the mapping between MCS (Modulation and Coding Scheme) index and TBS (Transport Block Size) index. Table 126.96.36.199.1-1 shows the transport block size. It indicates the number of bits that can be transmitted in a subframe/TTI (Transmit Time Interval). http://www.etsi.org/deliver/etsi_ts/136200_136299/136213/08.08.00_60/ts_136213v080800p.pdf This is the Twelfth and Final Video of the LTE- Fundamental series. The Federal Government has said it has become imperative for all Nigerians to patronise made-in-Nigeria products, thus calling on the people to always buy Nigeria's locally made goods. Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu and the Minister of State for Industry, Trade Investment, Hajia Aisha Abubakar, made the appeal in their separate speeches, in Abuja. They made the call during a meeting between the two ministers, when the latter paid an official visit recently to the former in his office to discuss the urgent need to increase patronage of locally manufactured goods, through the use of Executive Order E03 of May 18th , 2017. Onu, who, however, advised Nigerians to buy goods that met the required certification, reasoned that by so doing, it would enable manufacturers embark on research, aimed at improving on the quality of products and also making Nigerian goods the best in the world. He noted that the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology was one of the lead ministries in the national economy recovery plan and growth plan 2017- 2020 to lead in this Made- in -Nigeria products. According to Onu, "We are committed to making sure that we put in our own contributions to ensure that we convert the enormous and the abundant raw materials in the country into products that our people will require, that we don't have to rely on the importation of everything we need. We want our Naira to be strong and we want jobs for our people". He added, "The ministry will continue to develope appropriate technology that will help the country to convert the materials we have into appropriate product we needs. It is only when that conversion is done that it becomes Made-in-Nigeria products, because that is the only way our industrialization will be irreversible if we don't put in our own technology we can industrialize and it can be reversed. "With research and innovation works, we will have products that are very different from the one that the original manufacturers have, that will be more conducive to our own needs." Earlier, the Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Aisha Abubakar, has stated that the ministry is mandated with the responsibility of collating information from government to formulate a policy to ensure the government maximizes the use of Made-in-' Nigeria goods. Abubakar requested the ministry of science and technology to consider hosting the Technology Fairs, similar to trade expos, in order to encourage local research and development, so that scientists could come for their invention and innovations for industries to appropriate. She further said that Industrial Participation Programme should be initiated to ensure vendors transferred technology to Nigeria, adding that local patronage unit be created to monitor all the above to monitor EO3. Besides, industrial collaborations with FIIRO, RMRDC, NABDA and parastatals that had links with industries should be encouraged. According to her, the ministry would be willing to facilitate these industrial collaborations.

CIRCUIT SWITCHING PACKET SWITCHING In circuit switching there are 3 phases i) Connection Establishment. ii) Data Transfer. iii) Connection Released. In Packet switching directly data transfer takes place . In circuit switching, each data unit know the entire path address which is provided by the source In Packet switching, each data unit just know the final destination address intermediate path is decided by the routers. In Circuit switching, data is processed at source system only In Packet switching, data is processed at all intermediate node including source system. Delay between data units in circuit switching is uniform. Delay between data units in packet switching is not uniform. Resource reservation is the feature of circuit switching because path is fixed for data transmission. There is no resource reservation because bandwidth is shared among users. Circuit switching is more reliable. Packet switching is less reliable. Wastage of resources are more in Circuit Switching Less wastage of resources as compared to Circuit Switching It is not a store and forward technique. It is a store and forward technique. Transmission of the data is done by the source Transmission of the data is done not only by the source, but also by the intermediate routers Congestion can occur during connection establishment time Congestion can occur during data transfer phase

A global watchdog has sounded the alarm about the growing danger of cyber attacks, on financial markets, warning that firms and regulators around the world need to address the “uneven” response to the threat of online assaults. And that’s just the latest in a series of concerns expressed in our brave new world of global internet connectivity. Prof. Amir Herzberg, Head of the Networking and Security Area in the Department of Computer Science at Israel’s Bar-Ilan University, has long expressed many concerns about cyber security, cyber warfare, and basic privacy. On the one hand, we have a very high aggregation of information concentrated in a few behemoth providers such as Google, Yahoo!, Facebook, and Microsoft. This structure appears harmless, as it appears to occur voluntarily under the benign guise of social networking among friends or by virtue of allowing us to search the Internet effortlessly for information in a centralized database. What could be wrong with that? Well for one thing, as Herzberg argues, this oligopolistic structure makes the flow of information far easier to control and restrict. It is fundamentally antithetical to a free market of ideas. By virtue of this information concentration a small club of companies have massive databases of private information, which provide them with a significant competitive advantage over other smaller companies. The likes of Google or Facebook will become the ultimate re-sellers of everything, and will control huge swaths of our markets, which has profound implications for a healthy competitive free market. It also has fiscal implications for governments, since these multinational corporations have huge flexibility in terms of where they book their profits, in spite of their nationality. Taxation arbitrage represents another challenge for national governments at a time when fiscal resources for major social problems are said to be scarce. And finally, the powerful advance of these information behemoths will invariably lead to the rise of illegitimate data aggregators via spyware, hacking, and other means, which will lead to a black market in information that will be far less easy to control. But the analysis goes well beyond security and privacy concerns in relation to the private sector. The revelations by CIA whistleblower Edward Snowden shockingly illustrate that cyber security and privacy have become THE existential issue - one that essentially defines our national polities. Even supposedly liberal democracies have increasingly become national security states that routinely override individual privacy rights. Worse yet, these same states are now using the internet not only to spy on citizens around the world (including their own), but they are increasingly engaging in offensive cyber warfare in order to disrupt the information systems of their national rivals. What is the scale of effort that is actually required to initiate global cyber warfare? It can happen in a far more discreet way than, say, a test for a nuclear weapon. And it’s all being justified on the grounds of “keeping us safe,” but, as Herzberg notes, we have no protocols to govern cyber warfare. Until we address the multiplicity of concerns raised in this interview, they will continue to pose profound challenges to us as individual citizens and to our democracies.

HETNET (SMALL CELL & RELAY NODE) - CAPACITY & COVERAGE ENHANCEMENT IN 4G LTE Cellular coverage plays a pivot role in throughput enhancement. The major challenge faced by the network operators today is to provide uniform coverage especially in metro cities which are filled with high rise buildings. One way to expand the existing Macro network is to densify it by adding more eNodebs. However installing macro sites can be very expensive. So how do we overcome this challenge? What is LIBRARY SCHOOL? What does LIBRARY SCHOOL mean? LIBRARY SCHOOL meaning. "Library school" is a term which has been used to describe an institution of higher learning specializing in the professional training of librarians. The first library school in the United States was established by Melvil Dewey (the originator of the Dewey decimal system) in 1887 at Columbia University. Since then many library schools have been founded in the United States and Canada, with Canada's first formal librarianship program established at McGill University in 1904. The development of library schools in other countries began in 1915, when librarians' schools were founded at Leipzig and Barcelona (currently, as a faculty of the Universitat de Barcelona, the later is the oldest library school in Europe). Many others were founded during World War II. The University of Chicago Graduate Library School became the first library school to confer a master's degree in library science, which is now the standard professional degree, and later became the first to give a doctoral degree in the field. Other prominent American library schools are located at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Most library schools in North America offer graduate programs only. Accreditation of these programs is granted by the American Library Association. The bachelor's degree in Library Science (or Library Economy as it was called in early days) was, for the most part, phased out several decades ago. Librarians in North America typically earn a master's degree, typically the Master of Library Science (MLS) or the Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS). This degree allows one to work as a practicing librarian in public libraries, academic libraries, school library media centers, and special libraries, while many individuals with the MLS credential work with major library vendors. The degree is also applicable to related sectors such as publishing. Master of Library Science programs are typically structured to offer a combination of required and elective courses in library science and information science. The required courses focus on core library skills such as cataloging, reference, collection development as well as related areas such as the philosophy underlying the profession, information technology and management. Elective courses may include information management, children's literature, genealogy and archives as well as specialized courses related to different types of libraries. In recent decades, many schools offering librarianship education have changed their names to reflect the shift from print media to electronic media, and to information contained outside of traditional libraries. Some call themselves schools of library and information science (abbreviated to "SLIS", hence the term "SLISters" for their students), while others may have dropped the word "library" altogether. This trend began as early as the 1960s with the recognition that information and access to it was shifting to electronic resources with the development of telecommunications and computer networks and away from the traditional definition of librarianship. This shift led a number of library schools to change or broaden their mission to be more inclusive of information sciences across many disciplines including library sciences, archives, computer sciences and more, and led to the development by a number of schools of an iSchool organization, to advance the field of information as a whole.

Join me at LIG and let me show you how yours will be the next career transformed; https://goo.gl/chwjpr Welcome to this week's episode where I make project management simple for you. To make it applicable to the majority of the audience, I am teaching Project Management Institute's (PMI) project management framework. ________________________________________________ Textbooks and frameworks are always boring. So, to make project management more interesting for you, I ran a project to demonstrate what steps to take and when. You won't regret spending 50 minutes to learn the basics of a wonderful practice called project management. You can also download all the templates I used in the session here (no need to register); https://thecareermastery.com/career-tips/project-management-simplified/ Although I strongly recommend you watch the entire session without skipping, for those of you who are just looking for snippets of information, you may find below the index of the video; 03:03 What is a project, program, and portfolio and how are they different from operations? 04:08 Project = Project Life Cycle + Project Management Process 04:43 Project Life Cycle 06:52 Process Groups 09:27 LIG, PMP certification or CAPM certification, which one is right for you? It definitely has a sexy tone to it right? Project… I just love the way it sounds. I wonder how cool it must sound in French. Proje… Well, project is a temporary endeavor to create a unique solution. Yeah that’s operations. No Well, the difference between a project and operations is fairly simple. A project ends. So, it’s temporary. You implement your project, you close it, you create a unique product/service/ or whatever outcome you wanted then you are done. Whereas in operations, it’s on-going and repetitive. You may have also heard about the terms program and portfolio. Let me just quickly explain them here. Program is multiple projects put together. Combined. And Portfolio is similarly. Multiple programs put together. So, it’s project, program, portfolio. Now before I go further, and dive deep. You need to understand something crucial. To run any project, you need 2 methodologies. The first one is a project life cycle and the second one is project management process. Most people confuse these 2. And if these are not clear, you can kiss the PMP certification goodbye. It’s absolutely amazing how many content creators in YouTube confuse these two. They are not interchangeable. You cannot afford to confuse a project life cycle with a project management process. Don’t worry I am going to make it very simple for you. Let’s start with Project Life Cycle. Project Life Cycle is unique to a project, to an industry, to your needs. It’s highly customizable. Think of it like this; a human development is a project. So, your life cycle is; 1) Conceiving 2) Birth 3) Childhood 4) Teenage hood. Teenage hood. Is that a word? Teenaging? 5) Adulthood 6) And death Easy stuff right? So, now if it was an IT project. I am not an IT but it would like something like this; High-level design Detailed Design Coding Testing Installation And Turnover This is project life cycle. The term cycle is a bit confusing here. I think. But who knows. This video covers; project management project management institute pmp project management professional certification project life cycle project management PMI managing a project project management fundamentals fundamentals of project management project management for beginners project management course

Bottom line is over 1000 dealers use the ASAP network 7 days a week, 24hours a day for Zero cost! That’s correct! Dealers pay absolutely nothing to get all the resources and benefits from the network. How is that possible? Because the manufactures on the ASAP network understand that without you and the work you do to sell their parts, they would not be as successful but they also know that they are not in the business of E Commerce so they make sure you get the right tools and the right help to get there parts on your site so you both succeed. It’s a win / win scenario.

Our signature model legislation, the 4th Amendment Protection Act, would ban a state from taking actions which provide "material support" or assistance to warrantless federal spying programs. This includes provisioning of resources, and banning the state from using data obtained without warrant in state court. States should pass this legislation whether they have a physical NSA facility or not, banning the warrantless data in court will have an immediate effect. And, since the NSA rarely publicizes its plans in advance, it's essential to ensure that their ability to expand with more data center facilities around the country is restricted before they get off the ground. (learn more here) 2. Electronic Data Privacy Act. For those states where legislators are not yet willing or able to get the full 4th Amendment Protection Act passed, the Electronic Data Privacy Act is a powerful first step. By banning the use of warrantless data in court, this state legislation can thwart some of the practical effects of federal spying programs. (learn more here) 3. Freedom From Location Surveillance Act. A narrow, but important first step against the growing surveillance state, the Freedom From Location Surveillance Act bans state and local law enforcement from obtaining the location information of a person's electronic device without a warrant. The NSA is tracking the physical location of people through their cellphones. In late 2013, the Washington Post reported that NSA is "gathering nearly 5 billion records a day on the whereabouts of cellphones around the world." This includes location data on "tens of millions" of Americans each year -- without a warrant. Nanjing business environment; established sector markets; business development areas; consumer and labour markets; local resources and special programs. If you're a Canadian SME and have questions about doing business in China, please send us your questions by email at [email protected] All services of the Trade Commissioner Service are free of charge to qualified Canadian clients. Hi, my name is Jiemin Hou, and I am the Canadian trade office manager in Nanjing. Nanjing covers an area of nearly 7,000 square kilometers and has a population of over 8 million people. It is the capital city of Jiangsu Province, located on the Yangtze River Delta, 270Km away from Shanghai. It has China’s largest inland harbour and fifth-largest international freight airport. Nanjing also boasts an impressive rail and road network, acting as a hub connecting Central, East and North China. Nanjing is the political, cultural and economic centre of Jiangsu Province. It is a major centre for trade, finance, tourism and logistics and an important comprehensive industrial production base in China. It has a growing industrial sector that has benefited from the region’s abundant resources and close proximity to Shanghai. It is also a major telecommunications, transportation, distribution and retail centre. The provincial government recently announced plans to deepen economic reforms and enhance investment opportunities for overseas enterprises. Some of the key priority areas are big data, cloud computing, new materials, and biotechnology. The government has also said that it will prioritize new service industries, such as IT services, e-commerce, and modern logistics, by lowering taxes and increasing direct support for these sectors. With a software industry expanding at 40 percent annually, and strong government support for the high-tech sector, there are fantastic opportunities for Canadian SMEs in this area. Canadian companies with innovative agricultural technologies can also benefit from the government’s push to increase agricultural yields, while Canadian biotech and life sceinces companies should take note of Nanjing's rapidly growing biomedical industry. As the city with the third largest number of universities in China, Nanjing boasts an abundant talent pool. Local government policy is very supportive of innovation and entrepreneurship. For example, project321, a government-funded Angel Investment project for start-ups, has helped create opportunities and increase the chances of success for local entrepreneurs. Canadian SMEs have cooperated with Chinese startups in recent years, resulting in a number of success stories. These startups are flexible and open-minded, and their founders typically have international experience. Having a Chinese partner may help you secure financing and various forms of government support, not to mention develop relationships and navigate this unique business environment. For a Canadian company to do business in China, it must be well prepared. Finding the right contacts or the right partner is not always easy. Being present on the ground is critical in order to develop your relationships and your networks. And this where trade office in Nanjing can help you. Having trade commissioners based in Nanjing makes it much easier for Canadian companies to get timely assessments of local market conditions and opportunities. You can turn to us for help with identifying contacts, selecting the right potential partners and developing the relationships you need to advance your business in China. ...
