Social media marketing, it's already competitive. How are you going to stand out from the crowd when your mom and dad are already on Facebook? Hey everyone, I'm Neil Patel, and today I'm going to share with you how you can stand out from the crowd with social media marketing. Tip #1: Leverage the new innovative channels out there. Facebook and Instagram are old. But you know what? On these social sites, they continually innovate. Who's Facebook trying to be? YouTube. So what does Facebook roll out? Facebook Watch. It's their version of showing live TV shows, just like YouTube. Facebook wants a slice of the action. If you post your video content to Facebook, they'll instantly give you a ton of views. Why? Because they want you to move all your video content over to Facebook. That's innovative, right? #2: Be transparent. The thing with marketing is that everyone sees it for what it is. Consumers these days see right through the gimmicks. So whatever you do, do you. But if you really want to stand out with social media marketing, be transparent. Lying and telling people that they're going to get results that they're not going to get, it's just going to make people not like you. Look at sites like smartpassiveincome.com run by Pat Flynn. Pat was an architect, and now he's just like, "Hey let me create a blog telling people and showing them "how I'm making money online "and let me even show 'em my numbers "and prove that these are my real stats." And people love it. It's all about being transparent, his marketing has taken off, and he's one of the most popular bloggers and even podcasters out there because he's transparent. And that's the cool part. By being transparent, you're gonna get a following of people being like, "Oh, cool, you're showing all of your amazing moments "and all your terrible moments." If you want to be transparent with your social media marketing leave a comment with your ideas and I'll tell you if it's going to work or if it won't. I've tested a lot of this stuff out, like on the Neil Patel blog; I shared my journey all the way from going from zero to a hundred thousand visitors a month. #3: Use videos. Look, you're watching me. You know the past few months I've been doing a ton of videos, I've been going to conferences, events, and you know what people have been saying? Neil, you have amazing content. I'm like, "Great you love my content. "What was the latest piece of content that you liked?" I'm just trying to get feedback on how I can improve. And they're like, "Oh, your video on X, Y, and Z topic." They're not talking about my podcasts; they're not talking about my blog content even though my blog content gets way more traffic. Everyone's talking about my video content. Why is that? It's because it's helping me build a deeper connection with you. Sure, there are lots of comments on my videos, but I also do that in my blog comments. Why isn't my blog growing as fast? People want videos; it's how they connect with one another. So, create videos. It's not about text-based content these days; it's not about audio-based content, if you want to stand out from the crowd it's all about videos. #4: Be a long-term thinker. Look at Gary Vaynerchuk; you think he's successful, right? He is. Did it happen overnight? No, it didn't. He had Wine Library TV before that, then he created his agency, then did the DailyVee, and eventually, yes, you're seeing him everywhere, but it took him a long time before he got to where he is. And the same with me. You think I'm an overnight success? No, I've been doing this for over 16 years. That's a long time. No, you don't have to put in 16 years like I am before you start seeing results and making money, but if you want to really succeed in the marketing world, you have to think of it as a three-plus year plan. Don't expect amazing things in the first six months; you'll see some traction. After the first year, you're going to start seeing growth. After the second year, things are going to start skyrocketing. After three years, assuming you're pushing hard every single week, then things are going to start blowing up. But, if you don't do it consistently you won't do well. It's all about the long game. That's a bunch of BS. Today, I'm going to share with you how I built a six-figure business in 90 days using Facebook ads and how you can too. Sign up for Facebook Ads then sign up for Webinar Jam. Webinar jam is a webinar software that allows you educate and sell people online. You see all these ads on YouTube and Facebook for people saying, 'register for my webinar.' Why do you think they're doing them? It's because it's an easy way to make money, and I hate to say it most of the people who are doing this, suck at everything other than selling on the webinar. They don't have that many skills. Why don't I do it anymore? I don't care for the money, but I'll share with you how you can do it step by step, so the first thing, as I mentioned, sign up for Webinar Jam. Webinar Jam is a software that allows you to do a webinar and sell on there. They also have this other software called EverWebinar, which you'll also need, and it allows you to do a webinar once, but make it recorded so that way your webinar continuously seems like you're holding a new one every 15 minutes. So, people can sign up and then join your webinar. Now that you've got your webinar up and running and going create a webinar. The webinar can be on anything, how to create an Amazon business, how to do something that you're good at. Something that other people want to learn. So with your webinar, the first part is educating. The first 30 to 40 minutes of your webinar presentation should be educating. Showing tips, techniques, strategies that they haven't seen before. And then after you did that you're like, 'Hey, did you like these techniques?' Did you think they were amazing? There are amazing techniques, but I have ones that are way better. Would you like to hear those? Do I have your permission? And the reason you are asking their permission, is because you're asking them, hey, can I sell you something in other words, right? Then, on the webinar, sell it to them for a price. The price could be a thousand bucks. Usually, you want to have somewhere between $500 and a thousand five hundred. But the price that you choose has to be discounted. So, if you're selling it for $500, the original price needs to be $2000, $3000, or whatever it may be. With Webinar Jam, you can also put a countdown clock. Right in their settings, they break down that you can put a timer. When you put a timer, it tells people that this offers only valid until the end of this webinar or the next week, or whatever you decide that you want to end up using. And when you do that, people know time sensitive. And when it's time sensitive, they're much more likely to buy instead of thinking if they want to buy. Now that you've got the webinar up and running, you want to drive traffic. Through Webinar Jam, you can just throw up a landing page, get people to opt-in. You want to keep it simple. Maybe have an image of you. Tell people what they are going to expect on the webinar, and then an opt-in. And then when there's opt-in, you can use Twilio, people will get a text reminder, and they'll start joining. And then as they join and they show up to the webinar, you'll start getting sales. And when you are having your webinar timing so when they can sign up and listen to it, make sure you have a webinar that starts every 15 minutes. Remember, it's recorded, you don't have to be in the webinar every 15 minutes. Instead, other people can just join whenever they want, that means that when you're sleeping, you could be making money. How to Make Money With Facebook Ads - The Numbers And you give you a rough idea; I was selling a thousand dollar product. For every hundred webinar registrations, I would get 3.6 sales, and roughly 20% would refund. I would still make well over $2000, and for those hundred webinar registrations in general, I would be paying six bucks per webinar registration. So, that means I'm spending $600 to make more than $2000, right, I don't know what the exact math works out to, but I think it's around like $2500, or $2800, after refunds or even three grand, whatever it may be. But the point I'm trying to say is, the math works out well. Facebook advertising can be extremely lucrative if you have the right Facebook marketing strategy.

You can import Google Analytics Goals into Google AdWords as conversions so you can optimize for your Key Performance Indicators. In this video, we will be using Google display advertising to drive traffic to our free eBook so we can grow our email list. In exchange for your name and email, we will send you our free eBook and subscribe you to our newsletter. When you fill out the form, you will go to our Thank You page or in this case our Confirm page, which we have set-up as a destination Goal in Google Analytics. We get started by running a Standard Display campaign and going through some of your different targeting options including intent audiences, remarketing audiences, In-Market audiences, Affinity Audiences, Placements, and Keywords. We will create a campaign with the different types of targeting options available. You will have to set your location targeting, language targeting, bids, budgets, ad schedule, frequency capping, ad rotation settings, start dates, end dates, and more for your campaign. You can also adjust your Google Display Advertising campaigns for mobile, desktop, or tablet devices. You can even create mobile-specific campaigns. After you have your campaign settings good to go, you need to set-up the targeting you want to choose. There are a ton of different targeting options on the Google Display Network. You can target Interest Audiences, Intent Audiences, Keywords, Placements, Websites, Mobile Apps, Videos, YouTube Video channels, and more. There is no limit to what you can target your ads to on the Display Network. At the end of the day though, you want to make sure you are targeting audiences that will convert and drive leads, sales, and revenue to your business. You can also use Google Display Advertising to target your Remarketing audiences, customer match lists, YouTube viewers, App users, and create custom combinations of people. We like to layer some of the demographics available on the Display Network with our other targeting. Since you can target age groups 18-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65+, you can reach the age groups that are most impactful for your business. You can target male and female genders. You can target based on household income, so if you only want to reach the top 10% of U.S. households based on Yearly earnings, you can narrow it down to those people. You can also target parents or non-parents depending on the products and services you are advertising. Once you are done with targeting, you need to select your Google Display Ads next. You have a choice between Responsive ads that will adjust sizes based on the ad unit it is filling on the Google Display Network. We love responsive ads because you just upload a 1200x1200 and a 1200x628 along with several logos. In addition, you will need to add a final URL, short headline, long headline, and description. The other banner ads we like to upload are sized 300x250, 160x600, 728x90, 468x60, 300x50, 320x50, and 300x600. We go through all of the different ad sizes in the video so you can upload the right ads. Final Thoughts: The best Google Display Advertising strategies I can give you is to measure all of your conversion data, create multiple responsive and banner ads, test different targeting types, track everything, and closely match your targeting to you Google Display ads to your landing pages so you can achieve optimal results from display ppc advertising with Google AdWords.

The way Google AdWords works is every time someone clicks on your ads; you pay money. So if you want to improve your quality score, you have to do a few simple things. Number one, target very specific keywords. Don't do broad match. If you go after particular keywords by doing the exact match, what'll happen is your ads will only show up for that particular keyword or phrase. When you go too broad, you're going to end up paying more per click because Google's going to be showing your ads to a lot of people who aren't clicking. The next tactic that you need to be following is negative keywords. For example, let's say you're selling computers. When someone types in Apple because you're also a reseller of Apple computers, you may want to add the negative keyword of food. Because if you show up for ads related to Apple and someone's looking for the food, you're going to be wasting money per click, your quality score is going to go down, and your ad costs are going to go through the roof. So make sure you add in negative keywords. Third, group your ppc keywords. What I mean by grouping is a lot of your keywords are similar to each other. Put those in one group. So the higher your click-through rate, the cheaper your ads will be. And the higher your click-through rate, the better your quality score is going to be. The fourth tip I have for you continues to optimize your ad text. If your ad texts get more click-through than the competitors, your cost per click is going to go down, and your quality score is going to go up. By testing, you're going to be able to figure out what works and what doesn't work. If you're unsure of this, look at your competitors. Type in a keyword. You can see the ad texts that other people are using at the top. Usually, the people at the top have appealing ad text and which is getting a ton of clicks. If you can't find a ton of examples when you're searching a keyword, go to SEMrush, put in a keyword, and it'll show you the history of all the people who have been bidding on that keyword and what their ad copy was. Last but not least, optimize your landing page. If your landing page is fantastic when people go click through on your ad, go to your landing page, and buy, your quality score is going to go up. If your landing page sucks and people keep bouncing back off, well, Google's going to ding your quality score. The way you can landing page is, A, put your keywords on that landing page. So if someone Googles the keyword marketing and your landing page also shows marketing, you're much more likely to keep the visitor on there and convert. B, continually run tests using Crazy Egg. Using Crazy Egg, you can see where people are getting stuck on your landing page, what they like, how far down they're scrolling, and what you can improve on that page to create a better user experience. That's it. Follow all those techniques and tactics, and you're going to be able to improve your Google AdWords quality score and your inbound marketing efforts.

How can I answer more questions?" Right? So I'm going to give you three approaches, three different ways to try to do the IELTS. Okay? We're going to look at three different ways. They're completely different from each other. The most important thing I want to tell you before we start: you have to know what works for you. Okay? One of these approaches will work for you; the others may not. Practice all three. If you're comfortable with one and it seems to work for you, and your score seems to be getting better, stick with that one and practice that one. Don't try to do all three each time. Figure out which one works, and just practice that one the most. Okay? The most obvious one and the first one we're going to talk about: read the entire passage, and then tackle the questions. Now, a few things to say, good and bad, about this approach. So, you have 20 minutes, let's say, that you're going to start from the first passage, you're going to do about 17 minutes; the second passage, you're going to spend 20 minutes; the last passage, you're going to spend 23, 24, 25 minutes. So, you have to do this very fast. So: can you read the entire passage and do the questions in that timeframe? Okay? That's the question you must ask yourself. Are you a fast reader? Can you comprehend everything you're reading? How is your vocabulary? Things like this. Some people, they must read everything, from beginning to end, and then go to the questions. But they can also keep; they can retain the information they've read, so when they go to the questions, they know where to go back and look for the answers. Now, the good part about this is that you have all the information in your head once you've read the entire passage. The bad part is that you're going to be reading the passage twice. Okay? Or not the whole passage, but you're going to read big chunks of the passage twice. You'll have read it the first time, you'll go to the questions, and then you'll be reading again to find the answers, because you're looking for specific words now. When you get to the questions, sometimes it's only one word difference from what you read in the passage. So, do I recommend this? Yes and no. If you're a fast reader and you can comprehend, then yes, do that. If you're not a fast reader, then no, don't do this. You'll be wasting too much time and reading more than you need to. What I'm going to do with these two approaches is show you how to read less. So you don't need to read the entire passage; you just need to read the areas that contain the answers to the questions. So, the second approach: go straight to the questions. You look at the question. First of all, understand the type of the question. Is it a multiple choice? Is it a fill-in-the-blank, like a summary? Are you looking for like headings for each paragraph? Are you looking for the title? Etc. Figure out what you're looking for, read the question carefully, pick out the keywords in the question or the key idea in the question, and then scan the passage. Don't read the passage. Just quickly look everywhere for where that information ought to be.

So if you want to improve your CTR you need to: 1. Use SEMrush - put in keywords and competitors in SEMrush. This will show you the ad text your competitors are using. If your competitors are constantly using a specific ad text, it usually means it converts well for them. 2. Create better copy than your competitors - look at what they use and try to come up with better variations. 3. Use keywords within your copy - if you include the keyword people are searching for in your ad copy you are more likely to get clicks. The copy needs to sound good, just adding a keyword isn't enough. 4. Start day parting - if you are in the B2B space people are more likely to become customers during normal business hours. So only show your ads when your ideal customers are online. For the B2C space, you can consider running your ads during all hours of the day. 5. Geo target - if you are only doing business in a certain region, then show ads only within those regions. This will help increase your overall CTR, which will reduce your ad costs.
