15 AMAZING TIPS TO BOOST YOUR CREATIVE SKILLS

CREATIVITY HACKS Check out these amazing crayon ideas to boost your creativity and imagination! This time I'll show you some pretty awesome ways to recycle old broken crayons into something truly beautiful. You can make super cute colorful candles, paintings, animal-shaped or Lego-shaped chalks, wonderful pendants and cool prints for your T-shirts using parchment! And here's what we need to make beautiful crayon candles! Old candles (if you want to color your candles a light color, I suggest you use your old white candles) Candle Wicks Recycled Jars Crayons (The Crayola brand works the best) Candle scents. Optional (please don’t use perfume since it is highly flammable) A container to melt wax Pencil Paper towels 1. Choose a glass or metal container you want to place your candle in and make sure it is clean and dry. 2. Place the wick in your container. You can wrap the top of the wick around a pencil and place it on the rim, and this will keep your wick centered. 3. Next cut up your recycled old candle wax and place in the candle making pot. Try and isolate your wick and leave it out of the melting process. 4. Place your melting pot on the stove and turn the heat to low. Make sure to constantly watch your wax since it tends to melt quickly and burn. 5. Add one or two crayons depending on the amount of wax you use. 6. Melt your mixture and pour into your prepared candle containers. 7. Let cool and trim the wick. Pencil shavings So you have an idea for a picture in the forefront of your mind. You get put your box of colored pencils and a pencil sharpener. With the picture still clear in your mind, you sharpen each and every pencil and put a sheet of white paper on the table, ready to get creative. So what would you expect to happen next? Not what happens here, that’s for sure! Instead of throwing away the pencil shavings and keeping the colored pencils to start drawing with, virtually the reverse happens. When you begin to look closer at the images you will be in for quite a surprise, yet we know you will also marvel at the ingenuity of some people. Though carefully removed from the colored pencils, these delicate shavings have been retained to create the most marvelous array of pictures, either as an adornment to a simple sketch, or as an entire work of art. What is ARTIFICIAL IMAGINATION? What does ARTIFICIAL IMAGINATION mean?

07:27
What is ARTIFICIAL IMAGINATION? What does ARTIFICIAL IMAGINATION mean? ARTIFICIAL IMAGINATION meaning - ARTIFICIAL IMAGINATION definition - ARTIFICIAL IMAGINATION explanation. Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. Artificial imagination, also called synthetic imagination or machine imagination, is defined as the artificial simulation of human imagination by general or special purpose computers or artificial neural networks. The term artificial imagination is also used to describe a property of machines or programs. Some of the traits that researchers hope to simulate include creativity, vision, digital art, humor, and satire. Artificial imagination research uses tools and insights from many fields, including computer science, rhetoric, psychology, creative arts, philosophy, neuroscience, affective computing, Artificial Intelligence, Artificial intuition, cognitive science, linguistics, operations research, creative writing, probability and logic. Practitioners in the field are researching various aspects of Artificial imagination, such as Artificial (visual) imagination, Artificial (aural) Imagination, modeling/filtering content based on human emotions and Interactive Search. Some articles on the topic speculate on how artificial imagination may evolve to create an artificial world "people may be comfortable enough to escape from the real world". Some researchers such as G. Schleis and M. Rizki have focused on using artificial neural networks to simulate artificial imagination. An important initiative in the field has been the founding of Vicarious, a Silicon Valley Startup which is led by D. Scott Phoenix and Dileep George. Their goal is to build an AI system that can learn faster than others and able to deduce something from very few examples. For that proposal, a fund of $40 million USD has been collected among people such as, Jeff Bezos, Amazon founder, Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook founder or venture capitalist Peter Thiel. Another important project is being led by Hiroharu Kato and Tatsuya Harada at the University of Tokyo in Japan. They have developed a computer capable to translate a description of an object into an image, which could be the easiest way to define what imagination is. Their idea is based on the concept of image as a series of pixels divided into short sequences that correspond to a specific part of an image. The scientists call this sequences “visual words” and those can be interpreted by the machine using statistical distribution to read an create an image of an object that in fact the machine does not knows how it look like. The topic of artificial imagination has gotten interest from scholars outside the computer science domain, such as noted communications scholar Ernest Bormann, who came up with the Symbolic Convergence Theory and worked on a project to develop artificial imagination in computer systems. How to Build a Mind: Toward Machines with Imagination by Igor Aleksander is a good academic book on the topic; Artificial Imagination, a roman a clef, is a good non-academic book supposedly written by an Artificial imagination system. The typical application of artificial imagination is for an interactive search. Interactive searching has been developed since the mid-1990s, accompanied by the world wide web's development and the optimization of search engines. Based on the first query and feedback from a user, the databases to be searched are reorganized to improve the searching results. How artificial imagination can contribute to interactive search Artificial imagination allows us to synthesize images and to develop a new image, whether it is in the database, regardless its existence in the real world. For example, the computer shows results that are based on the answer from the initial query. The user selects several relevant images, and then the technology analyzes these selections and reorganizes the images' ranks to fit the query. In this process, artificial imagination is used to synthesize the selected images and to improve the searching result with additional relevant synthesized images. This technique is based on several algorithms, including the Rocchio algorithm and the evolutionary algorithm. The Rocchio algorithm, locating a query point near relevant examples and far away from irrelevant examples, is simple and works well in a small system where the databases are arranged in certain ranks. The evolutionary synthesis is composed of two steps: a standard algorithm and an enhancement of the standard algorithm. Through feedback from the user, there would be additional images synthesized so as to be suited to what the user is looking for. Artificial imagination has a more general definition and wide applications.

What is IMAGINATION? What does IMAGINATION mean? IMAGINATION meaning, definition & explanation

02:50
What is IMAGINATION? What does IMAGINATION mean? IMAGINATION meaning - IMAGINATION pronunciation - IMAGINATION definition - IMAGINATION explanation - How to pronounce IMAGINATION? Source: Wikipedia.org article, adapted under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ license. Imagination, also called the faculty of imagining, is the creative ability to form images, ideas, and sensations in the mind without direct input from the senses, such as seeing or hearing. Imagination helps make knowledge applicable in solving problems and is fundamental to integrating experience and the learning process. A basic training for imagination is listening to storytelling (narrative), in which the exactness of the chosen words is the fundamental factor to "evoke worlds". It is accepted as the innate ability and process of inventing partial or complete personal realms within the mind from elements derived from sense perceptions of the shared world. The term is technically used in psychology for the process of reviving in the mind, percepts of objects formerly given in sense perception. Since this use of the term conflicts with that of ordinary language, some psychologists have preferred to describe this process as "imaging" or "imagery" or to speak of it as "reproductive" as opposed to "productive" or "constructive" imagination. Imagined images are seen with the "mind's eye". Imagination can also be expressed through stories such as fairy tales or fantasies. Children often use such narratives and pretend play in order to exercise their imaginations. When children develop fantasy they play at two levels: first, they use role playing to act out what they have developed with their imagination, and at the second level they play again with their make-believe situation by acting as if what they have developed is an actual reality. Psychologists have studied imaginative thought, not only in its exotic form of creativity and artistic expression but also in its mundane form of everyday imagination. Ruth M.J. Byrne has proposed that everyday imaginative thoughts about counterfactual alternatives to reality may be based on the same cognitive processes on which rational thoughts are also based. Children can engage in the creation of imaginative alternatives to reality from their very early years. Cultural psychology is currently elaborating a view of imagination as a higher mental function involved in a number of everyday activities, both at the individual and collective level that enables people to manipulate complex meanings of both linguistic and iconic forms in the process of experiencing.

Creative Imagination: Théodule Armand Ribot 1839-1916

21:00
Soren Kierkegaard wrote his book, Either/Or in 1843. He had a "hunch that the external is not the internal and presented two types in an imaginative form. The first, called A, had an external mode of life in complete contradiction to his inner life. The same was true to a certain extent with the other also, inasmuch as he concealed a more significant inwardness under a somewhat commonplace exterior." He said he "I found a contradiction between what I saw and what I heard, then I found my doubt confirmed." Théodule-Armand Ribot was a French psychologist who wrote many books about the inner activity of the individual. His works were translated into English between 1873 and 1910. Some include: English Psychology (1873), Heredity: a Psychological Study of its Phenomena, Laws, Causes, and Consequences (1875), Diseases of Memory: An Essay in the Positive Psychology (1882), Diseases of the Will (1884), German Psychology of to-day, (1886), The Psychology of Attention (1890), Diseases of Personality (1895), The Psychology of the Emotions (1897), The Evolution of General Ideas (1899), and Essay on the Creative Imagination (1900). He also wrote about Arthur Schopenhauer, a German philosopher who wrote The Art of Controversy. He says, "Since the chief aim of this study is to prove that the basis of invention must be sought in motor manifestations, I shall not hesitate to dwell on it, and I take the subject up again under another, clearer, more precise, and more psychological form, in putting the following question: Which one among the various modes of mind-activity offers the closest analogy to the creative imagination? I unhesitatingly answer, voluntary activity: Imagination, in the intellectual order, is the equivalent of will in the realm of movements." "The imagination is subjective, personal, anthropocentric; its movement is from within outwards toward an objectification. The understanding, i.e., the intellect in the restricted sense, has opposite characteristics—it is objective, impersonal, receives from outside. For the creative imagination the inner world is the regulator; there is a preponderance of the inner over the outer. For the understanding, the outside world is the regulator; there is a preponderance of the outer over the inner. The world of my imagination is my world as opposed to the world of my understanding, which is the world of all my fellow creatures. On the other hand, as regards the will, we might repeat exactly, word for word, what we have just said of the imagination. This is unnecessary. Back of both, then, we have our true cause, whatever may be our opinion concerning the ultimate nature of causation and of will." Creative Writing - 4 Easy Steps An Essay Writer Must Know!

06:40
Creative Writing -http://www.singlishtoenglish.com/creative-writing/ - How to write with flair There are many different types of writing out there. For the purpose of this video, we will look at creative writing and the simple steps to take in writing a creative essay. What is creative writing? It is a broad statement that covers every form of narrative writing from poetry to feature articles in newspapers to novels - the list is endless. Loosely put, it excludes anything academic and technical. Let's look at how to write a creative essay: First step: Choose your subject. When choosing a subject, pick something you and others may find interesting. It may not have to be a subject that you know well, though that helps! If the subject is something you find interesting, but do not know much about, research it! That will be Step 2: All good writers research the background to their essay/story/novel, etc. If need be, talk to relevant authorities. Ask questions and learn more about the topic. Take some time and mull over your topic. Look at it from different perspectives. Write down all thoughts that occur to you on the subject, relevant or random, it does not matter. You can sift through it later and decide on what you want to use. You never know. You might end up with enough material for more than one essay. Onto the next step, Step 3, where you put down an outline of how, what, when, where and who your essay is all about. This will guide and keep you on the straight and narrow of the story without taking you down a meandering path. Then its time to flesh out these how, what, when, where and who questions as that will build the foundation of the story. Once you have the first 3 steps done, you can proceed to Step 4, writing the story. Using the outline you have set out, start with the introduction. In the introduction, the setting for the creative essay is established. Here is where you establish the place, time and scenery for the main subject of the essay. Next we come to the body of the essay. The plot of the essay is developed in the body. It can be made up of just one paragraph, in the case of a short story, or several paragraphs, when the story is longer. Each paragraph is to showcase one main idea. The movement from one paragraph to another has to be smooth and fluid without choppiness. This is where transitions come in useful. Briefly, transitions are words like 'yet', 'and', 'but' and so on. They allow the essay to flow seamlessly from one idea to another. They are usually used in the middle of a sentence. But, they can be used in the beginning to emphasise a point. I just did that. I used 'but' in the beginning of a sentence when it is usually used in the middle. This lays emphasis on the content of the sentence following the 'but' and shows the continuity of the thought process from the previous sentence. Just be careful not to over use transitions in your essay. Other transitions which we use all the time are words like 'however','also' and 'therefore'. There are many more transition words and I will get into grammar transitions more fully in another video. Finally, (there's a transition for you!) we come to the conclusion of the creative essay. The conclusion is where the whole plot comes together and is tidied up ...or not. That depends on you, the author, on how you want the essay to end. It can be neat and tidy, with a 'happily ever after' like fairy-tale ending or in can be a cliffhanger, where the ending is left shrouded in suspense. The ending or conclusion of your essay is important, so don't rush it or end it abruptly. It must leave a strong enough impact that the story remains in the reader's mind after he finishes reading it. Now that your creative essay is done, check it thoroughly for spelling and grammatical errors. Change whatever does not read or flow right. Think about the effect the essay will have on the reader. Ask someone else to proofread it for you. Very often we miss errors in our own writing that others will pick up. Once your essay is checked, proofread, corrected and checked again, it is done! 22 CUTE AND CREATIVE REPURPOSING IDEAS

17:12
RECYCLING IDEAS THAT ARE GOING TO SAVE THE WORLD Recycling and upcycling is better than shopping! You can always make something cool and new using some old stuff that you wanted to throw away. Today, we are here with a lot of awesome ideas on recycling, upcycling, and repurposing. Let's learn how to turn trash into treasure. First of all, you can make a lot of amazing crafts using empty detergent bottles and your imagination. Add up a few decorative elements, and you will get a cute book and paper holder. You can also make a very comfortable instrument holder (it will be a nice gift for your dad). Why buying a soap holder if you can make it yourself out of an empty dishwashing liquid bottle? Just choose the right size and you're good to go. Another cute craft for your bathroom is a toothbrush holder. Use shampoo bottles instead of large detergent ones, and you can make a comfy kitchen organizer. Add a large photo frame and place colorful bottles on them, and you'll get a lovely stationery holder. A few bottle caps can be turned into a nice coaster for your hot cups. Tin cans are also very useful - should you just decorate them nicely and you're good to go. We used glass gems and got a lovely organizer or a vase. If it's still cold where you live, we prepared a few warm hacks and crafts at the end of this video. My favorite idea is a mitten for couples! It's so romantic.
