Create a Directory Alias

Welcome to the Braintek video tutorials. My name’s Greg, owner of Braintek. Today, I’m going to show you an easy way to keep and synchronize your bookmarks in Firefox between your computers. So as you can see, I’ve got my favorites bar up here at the top. What we’re going to do, we’re going to click on the little settings button here and we’re going to ‘Sign in to Sync.’ Now if you don’t already have an account, you’ll need to create one and if you don’t have a Firefox one, you’ll have to go ahead and create the account. So we’re going to go ahead and create a Firefox account. I’m 42 by the way. I do not want the latest news and we’re going to choose what we want to sync. We’re going to sign. The email’s been sent. Let’s go ahead and confirm that email. Account’s been verified. Alright, so let’s come over here. What do we want to sync? We’re going to synchronize our tabs, bookmarks, passwords, yeah I think we’re going to go ahead and synchronize all of that. So we’re going to start and that’s what we’re going to do. So what we’ll be able to do is we’ll be able to log in to a different browser. Log in as well and we’re going to verify that all of this stuff shows up in my sync. Okay, so I’ve got Firefox here and let’s see if we sign in here on this other computer if everything starts to come across for us. Alright, here are all of our bookmarks. It came across like we have on this machine. I’d like to thank you for watching the Braintek video tutorial. Become a subscriber and have a great day!

Running Powershell Cmdlet-Basics

12:40
Kambui Twitter : @comebui Powershell Cmdlet 101 - Learn One Cmdlet at a Time! - Learn at your Own pace! - Comeback to it if forget something! - Sharing What I know, So if I goof up . Please correct me. - Real Newbie in Youtube Streaming!! Expect lot of uhh and um..etc. 1. Intro - To learn Powershell cmdlets you should first learn how cmdlets are structured. In this demonstration We will look into cmdlet strutures. 2. Noun and Verb - Every powershell cmdlet has a unique naming convention or standard. it comprises of two words which is seperated using a Hyphen. The word on the left side of the hyphen is called the Verb and right side is a Noun. Powershell have defined the number of verb's. Noun depends on the particular object you want to work with. Verb is the action you perform on that object. We can see all the approved verbs in powershell by running a cmdlet called Get-Verb 3. Tab Completion - Powershell has Tab Completion, i.e if you type unique part of a cmdlet powershell will auto complete it when Tab is press. This works with paramenters as well 4. Parameters - Paramenters are means to pass on information to a particular cmdlet. Sometime it is mandatory to pass some information to a cmdlet, so that it can return an output or perform some action based on the input you provided as parameters. There are some parameters which are common across all cmdlet these are know as common parameters.
