Microsoft Exchange 2016 - Receive Connector

07:35
Learn about Receive connectors in Exchange 2016, and how they control mail flow into your Exchange organization. Exchange 2016 servers use Receive connectors to control inbound SMTP connections from: Messaging servers that are external to the Exchange organization. Services in the transport pipeline on the local Exchange server or on remote Exchange servers. Email clients that need to use authenticated SMTP to send messages. You can create Receive connectors in the Transport service on Mailbox servers, the Front End Transport service on Mailbox servers, and on Edge Transport servers. By default, the Receive connectors that are required for inbound mail flow are created automatically when you install an Exchange 2016 Mailbox server, and when you subscribe an Edge Transport server to your Exchange organization

Exchange 2007: Increase the 10-MB received message limit

05:02
The maximum allowed message size in Exchange 2007 is managed by the various SMTP receive connectors that are installed in your Exchange organization. Exchange 2007 includes two default SMTP receive connectors--the Client SMTP Receive Connector and the Default SMTP Receive Connector. Bear in mind that, if you have Exchange 2007 running side-by-side with Exchange 2000 or 2003, you may need to manage the settings for the SMTP receive connector that accepts mail from those servers for delivery to Exchange 2007-based mailboxes. Otherwise, you need to change the settings for the Default Receive Connector (assuming you have added the ability to accept anonymous mail to the connector), or for the special receive connector you may have created in order to accept mail from the Internet.

08. Adding an IMAP, Exchange, or POP account automatically [Tutorial Outlook 2013]

03:23
You can use Outlook as a standalone client for your home and personal use or your office may use it internally as their default email program. That's what we're going to talk about today. If your company uses Microsoft Exchange, you can simply put in your email address and Outlook will do the rest of the configuration for you. We start by going up here to the Ribbon and choosing File and then Add Account. It's important to note that as of Outlook 2013, Exchange 2003 is not supported. So if you find yourself having trouble with this next step, it maybe worth asking your network administrator what version of Exchange you're trying to connect to. So from this dialog box, we need to put in our Name, Email Address and Password and while we are done, click Next. You'll get a Security Alert talking about security certificates. If it asks you if you want to proceed, click Yes. From here, it's going to make sure it can access your server, it's going to make sure your Password was correct, and then it's going to make sure you can log on to the mail server
