Most 10 Eco-Friendly Cities - Top 10 List Many countries and city governments have been taking action in order to clean up the messes of the past. Ecology has become one of the major philosophies in all societies, as we, as a people, have a goal to leave the Earth for our descendants in a better state than when we found it. If we can follow the example set by these Top 10 Eco-Friendly Cities of the world, we’ll be well on our way to sustaining Earth for many more generations to come. https://www.facebook.com/toptruths/ https://www.toptruths.com https://www.advexon.tv LIKE / SHARE / SUBSCRIBE 10. Oslo, Norway Eco-efficiency is important in this city, and it begins with grass-roots involvement. Oslo residents are encouraged to clean up, go green, and create a climate that features better air quality, eco-efficiency, biodiversity, and an abundance of clean, natural resources. The streets of Oslo look fantastic, due to local contributions being made to keep the area sustainable and highly-functioning for all of its residents. 9. Stockholm, Sweden Stockholm is among the cleanest cities in the world. It was the first city to win the European Green Capital Award, and it has a noble long-term plan to be fossil fuel free by 2050. The riverside city is stunning and features lots of natural landscape, such as beautiful trees navigated by cycling paths. Environmental policies are prioritised in Stockholm, and as such, the streets are clean and the urban city has a country-like feel to it, despite having tall buildings and a large number of residences. 8. Columbia, Missouri, United States Investing the time to become an eco-friendly city certainly has its benefits, such as energy reduction which in turn lowers costs and reduces greenhouse gas emissions. In Columbia, Missouri, businesses are incentivised to improve their energy efficiency though a city-wide grant system. Columbia’s City Green program determines how much energy a particular business uses, and then offers to pay for half the cost of an energy audit. Once the audit is completed, the city will pay for repairs up to $12,500. To keep the city looking great, Columbia has a number of green groups, which are coalitions of like-minded people who collaborate to achieve common environmental goals. These groups clean rivers, restore animal habitats, and promote beautification, restoration, and citywide recycling. 7. Vancouver, Canada Vancouver’s most notable performance is in the area of CO2 emissions. In The Green City Index, Vancouver boasts the lowest greenhouse gas emissions per capita of any city. Additionally, the city’s ecological goals include reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 20 percent and planting 150,000 new trees by 2020, making it one of the greenest cities on the map both literally and figuratively speaking. 6. Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban, South Africa These three towns in Africa all share a spot on the greenest cities list. It is very hard to pick just one city since all these three are very strong in different categories. For example, Cape Town and Johannesburg is said to have most green spaces in the whole continent. While Durban managed to take a lead because of its target to become a zero-waste city within 20 years and carbon neutral by 2050. 5. San Francisco, United States San Francisco used to be a capital city of the Hippy movement, but it would be wrong to say that this is the only reason this city is one of the greenest around the globe and the most ecological in North America. This city was the first in the United States to introduce the coloured bins recycling system to homes and workplaces, making recycling easy and accessible, and more importantly — legally obligatory. The fantastic public transport system and government’s encouragement for people to use more electric cars also helped San Francisco to be one of the eco-friendliest cities in the world. While these factors are only a drop in the ocean regarding what makes a country economically successful, the poorest countries in the world get these factors all wrong. While the availability of natural resources is the foundation of an economically robust country, utilising the resources well is a whole other aspect. Top 10 Oil Producing Countries in the World 2017 This is a list of countries by oil production, as compiled from the U.S. Energy Information Administration database for calendar year 2016, tabulating all countries on a comparable best-estimate basis. Compared with shorter-term data, the full-year figures are less prone to distortion from periodic maintenance shutdowns and other seasonal cycles. The volumes in the table represent crude oil and lease condensate, the hydrocarbon liquids collected at or near the wellhead. The volumes in the table do not include biofuel. They also do not include the increase in liquid volumes during oil refining ("refinery gain"), or liquids separated from natural gas in gas processing plants (natural gas liquids). Under this definition, total world oil production in 2016 averaged 80,622,000 barrels per day. Approximately 68% came from the top ten countries, and an overlapping 44% came from the fourteen current OPEC members, highlighted with blue shading in the table below. For many years, the top three producers have been (alphabetically) Russia, Saudi Arabia, and the United States. Each of these countries experienced major production declines at different times in the past, but since 2014 all three have been producing near their peak rates of 9 to 11 million barrels per day. 1 Russia 10,551,497 2 Saudi Arabia (OPEC) 10,460,710 3 United States 8,875,817 4 Iraq (OPEC) 4,451,516 5 Iran (OPEC) 3,990,956 6 China 3,980,650 7 Canada 3,662,694 8 United Arab Emirates (OPEC) 3,106,077 9 Kuwait (OPEC) 2,923,825 10 Brazil 2,515,459 I hope you will like video, if you do hit that Like button and dont forget to Comment and Subscribe. In this video Paul Andersen explains how the resources required for survival come from the Earth. The resources are not evenly distributed on the planet and neither are the humans. According to the NGSS we need to limit the use of nonrenewable resources (like oil and coal) through regulations and increase the use of renewable resources. A teaching progression K-12 is also included. 23 Richest Caribbean Countries Remake, 2018 - 2019 The Caribbean Sea, its islands, and the surrounding coasts on continental mainland together represent the Caribbean region. The richest economies in this region are as follows: The Bahamas The Bahamas is an archipelagic country made up of over 700 islands, islets, and cays. It is located to the north of Cuba in the Atlantic Ocean. The country has an estimated population of 391,232 people. It is the richest country in the Caribbean region by GDP per capita. The economy of the country relies heavily on the tourism industry. The sector accounts for over 60% of the national GDP and employs nearly 50% of the national workforce. Banking and other financial services are the second biggest contributor to the Bahamian economy, accounting for about 15% of the GDP. Agriculture accounts for about 5 to 7% of the national GDP. Major crops grown in the country include onions, tomatoes, sugar cane, sweet potatoes, okra, and a few others. Barbados The island nation of Barbados is the world’s 53rd richest and the Caribbean’s second richest country in terms of GDP per capita. The country’s economy can be described as a well-developed mixed type economy. The people of this country enjoy fairly high standards of living. Although historically, agriculture was the mainstay of the economy of Barbados, the focus has currently shifted to tourism and manufacturing. The information and finance services also contribute significantly to the national economy. The building construction industry is also thriving in Barbados. The country has the Caribbean’s largest stock exchange. Belize Belize is a Central American country with a coastline on the Caribbean Sea. The economy of the nation is small but thriving. It is mainly a private enterprise economy. The country relies heavily on the export revenue earned by the export of petroleum and oil, and agricultural products. The construction business and tourism sector are the fastest growing industries in the country. Industrial mineral production in the country is also an important economic activity. Sugar cane and banana are the chief crops grown in Belize. The government of the country is focussing on developing the tourism sector in the country. Due to the coastal location of the country and the facility provided to non-residents to establish accounts in the country, drug trafficking and money laundering cases are common. Such activities have a negative impact on Belize’s economy. Costa Rica Located in Central America, Costa Rica is the Caribbean region's fourth richest economy by GDP per capita. The economy of the country can be described as fairly stable with moderate rates of inflation and a fairly high rate of GDP growth. The encouraging investment and tax policies of the country favor foreign investment in the region. Many foreign companies thus operate here of which nearly 50% are American companies. As of 2016, 75.9% of the national GDP is contributed by the services sector. The industrial and the agricultural sector contribute about 18.6% and 5.5% to the national GDP of Costa Rica. Colombia Colombia is the fifth most prosperous economy in the Caribbean region. Although the economy was highly dependent on agriculture in the past, rapid urbanization in the 20th century shifted the focus from agriculture to other economic sectors. Today, agriculture accounts for only about 6.6% of the Colombian GDP while industry and services account for 19.6% and 64.6% of the national GDP, respectively. The country is rich in natural resources with its most profitable exports being minerals, oils, agricultural products, sugar, precious stones, etc. The Richest Caribbean Countries -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "Angel Fish Catch And Cooked With Curry Lobster And Kasava| Treasure Beach Jamaica" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bchlr8jmZZA -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-

Africa has a large quantity of natural resources. Nigeria and Sudan are the leading oil producing countries in Africa. In 2010, Sudan's oil exports were a near $9 billion. It has 15 diamond producing countries and produces 20 to 25% of the world's gold. Africa also has numerous copper and coal producing countries. Although Africa has an abundance of natural resources which are in high demand, majority of the continent is under developed. Many of the citizens of Africa do not reap the benefits from the sell of Africa's resources.

Nepal lies in the central part of 2500km long Himalayan belt. Almost 83% of Nepalese territory is mountainous. It is an underdeveloped country with vast natural resources such as water, minerals, forest, varieties of agricultural products and medical herbs. For the economic development of the country exploitation and proper use of such valuable resources, especially mineral resources, is extremely important. The mountainous region and the geological environment therein are suitable for metallic, nonmetallic (industrial, gemstones and energy/fuel) mineral deposits as well as huge amount of construction materials, dimension and decorative stones. Continues efforts are required to find the more mineral deposits and exploit them for the benefit of the people.

Unfortunately, African Countries have again topped the list of Top 10 Poorest Countries in the World. Not because they do not have resources but there are many other factors which do not let them develop. Almost all countries in our list have faced serious political strifes, civil wars, military coups and ethnic violances. Corruption is spread over everywhere which has paved way for nepotism and the as a result provoke armed conflicts. Some of these countries have suffered a lot because of unlimited cases of HIV and ebola among others, Diseases in these countries have killed millions and unavailibility of health facilities have made things worse. The populations of these countries are mostly dependent on agriculture and live stock for their earnings but droughts and unavailability of water in some places has harmed agriculture much. Manufactoring and industry is in beginner stage or not available and it makes most of these countries depend on foreign aid. The common good thing about these countries is that most of these countries have extensive natural resources like oil, gold, copper, diamonds and other precious metals but unfortunately, due to wars, militias and terrorist groups are vast spread and even after the availability of these resources people live under the poverty line. The governments and people of these countries need to work hard to get benefit from this natural gift and leaders and governments should show some sympathy to its people and stop the corruption. If these resources are used for the benefit of these people and human development, there is no doubt these countries will rise above all. As humans, we all have a duty to our brothers and sisters in these countries to help them in anyway possible. and big belly multinational companies should stop exploiting these countries and their resources. Copper is one of the most used metal by man; it is an essential element for building construction, power generation and transmission, electronic product manufacturing, and the production of industrial machinery and transportation vehicles. There is no evidence that copper even can be absorbed through the skin. But if it were, this could actually lead to copper poisoning, which may actually be more likely than beneficial effects, that is why it is also s vital to the health of all living things (humans, plants, animals, and microorganisms). In humans, copper is essential to the proper functioning of organs and metabolic processes. The human body has complex homeostatic mechanisms which attempt to ensure a constant supply of available copper, while eliminating excess copper whenever this occurs. Unfortunately there is also a downside to the production of copper in many Third World countries where you find a widespread of fraud, negligence and abuse. Global Witness has documented that government officials in many of the world's most impoverished countries turn a blind eye on harsh labor conditions in the artisanal mines, the complete absence of safety precautions and the failure of both the government and companies to take responsibility for the health and safety of tens of thousands of artisanal miners. In many developing countries, such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, Republic of the Congo and some other Third and Second World countries minors you will usually find that governments of those countries do not place any value to the safety precautions of their safety precautions, this leads to huge risks of accidents and deaths in the mines and very often nothing gets investigated. Yes, the big influx of foreign firms or multinationals pouring into those countries presents opportunities for the political elite to enrich themselves. leaving their citizens in misery, but it is the mentality that needs to change, it is the paradigm of those societies that need to change; progress comes with a price. In much of the very impoverished countries there is a growing amount of resentment because the vast profits resulting from copper and any other metal flow out of their countries without them seeing any change in their financial situation. That is why natural resources can be a blessing and a curse to a developing country. Governments in those countries do not believe that universal rights are values that their societies can implement, unconsciously they are not interested in adopting any form of human rights. #africatop10 Africa is blessed with many natural resources like gold, oil, diamonds, cobalt, iron, copper, uranium, silver, bauxite, cocoa beans and petroleum. Unfortunately, the standard of living of many people in the continent is deplorable. Transparency International has been publishing the corruption perceptions index (CPI) since the turn of the new millennium. If a country has a CPI of 100 it is very clean. The ranking was published in February 2017 and based on data from the International Monetary Fund. The magazine ranked the world's countries according to their gross domestic product (GDP) based on purchasing power parity (PPP) per capita. The PPP takes into account the relative cost of living and the inflation rates of the countries to compare living standards among the different nations. Most of the countries populating the top of this ranking are under authoritarian regimes where corruption is rampant. This a big deterrent to foreign investors, even if some of those countries have huge amounts of natural resources. The GDP per capita listed represents the amount of wealth produced in 2016 and is expressed in international dollars. FOLLOW...!!! Cheapest African Countries to Live or Retire ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe to our YouTube channel : https://goo.gl/oHL7nB ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 1. South Africa South Africa still remains the cheapest country to live in Africa as well as in the world. Being the world’s largest producer of gold, platinum, and chromium, the country has a rich economy. This results in a high local purchasing power compared to New York’s, thus placing the country at No.1. Additionally, South Africa offers lower prices on consumer goods and groceries, as well as rent. With one-bedroom in Durban going for around $280 a month and monthly expenses of just under $400, this is an ideal country to spend time with minimal cost implications on your budget. 2. Zambia For the past ten years, Zambia economy has been growing fast with real GDP growth averaging roughly 6.7 percent per annum. 3. Algeria Algeria has a number of natural resources; the country is ranked 10th in the world in terms of natural gas reserves, and sixth- largest gas exporter. It ranks 16th in oil reserves. The major contributor of foreign earnings is Hydrocarbons which accounts for about 60 percent of budget revenues, 30% of GDP, and over 95% of export earnings. 4. Tunisia 80 percent of the country’s exports are bound for Tunisia's main economic partner, the EU. Tunisia's liberal strategy, coupled with investments in education and infrastructure, fueled decades of 4-5% annual GDP growth and improving living standards. The country offers low cost of living, cheaper rent and consumer goods making it a relatively cheaper country to live. 5. Egypt Last year, higher levels of foreign investment contributed to a slight rebound in GDP growth after a particularly depressed post-revolution period. With its historic sceneries, Egypt has been able to sustain its large population of 88.5 million through tourism which is the biggest industry in the country. Egypt is also known for textiles and food processing industries. Consumer goods and rent are cheaper in Egypt; a one-bedroom in Cairo costs just $350 a month. 6. Morocco One thing that Morocco does very well, is capitalizing on its proximity to Europe. Its economy is also driven by agriculture, tourism, textiles, apparel, and subcomponents. 7. Namibia Namibia is highly dependent on the extraction and processing of minerals for export. Mining accounts for 11.5 percent of GDP, providing more than 50 percent of foreign exchange earnings. With its rich diamond deposits, Namibia produces gem-quality diamonds which contributes to the country’s foreign exchange. Apart from that, Namibia is the world's fifth-largest producer of uranium, it also produces large quantities of zinc and is a smaller producer of gold and copper. 8. Kenya With the growing economy, Kenya’s Nairobi is becoming a city for multinational companies seeking a foothold for their African operations. Almost as sophisticated as the South African cities, Nairobi offers its visitors a “kinder and gentler” atmosphere. For the last seven years, Kenya’s real GDP growth has averaged over 5 percent. Since 2014 Kenya has been ranked as a lower-middle-income country because its per capita GDP crossed a World Bank threshold. 9. Zimbabwe To counter the economic meltdown, the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) introduced bond coins denominated in 1, 5, 10, and 25 cent increments on a par with the US dollar in December 2014, 10. Ethiopia For more than a decade now, Ethiopia has grown at a rate of 8-11 percent, making it the fifth-fastest growing economy among the 188 IMF member countries. The growth is majorly contributed by the country’s agriculture (which employs about 80 percent of Ethiopians) and service sectors. Despite the high growth rate, the country is still struggling with poverty due to rapid population growth and drought. Rent costs about $45 a month. Food and other amenities are also affordable for anyone who wants to live in the country.
