FREE COURSE To Start Your Online Business: http://projectlifemastery.com/freecourse/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=free-course-promo&utm_term=investing-for-beginners&utm_content=lc-youtube-description In this video, Stefan talks about investing for beginners, and gives advice on how to get started. In particular, he highlights five investment success principles. When Stefan was 18 years old, he read a finance book called, "The Wealthy Barber”, by David Chilton. After reading this book, he realized that the most important thing that he could do was to start investing as soon as possible. The earlier you start investing, the sooner you can make mistakes and learn from them, and you have a higher risk tolerance. Stefan started from nothing, and has been able to build himself up to a millionaire, at 30 years old. Are you ready to invest in your future? It will be one of the best decisions you make! ★☆★ VIEW THE BLOG POST: ★☆★ http://projectlifemastery.com/investing-for-beginners/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=blog-post-promo&utm_term=investing-for-beginners&utm_content=lc-youtube-description ★☆★ SUBSCRIBE TO ME ON YOUTUBE: ★☆★ Subscribe ► https://projectlifemastery.com/youtube ★☆★ FOLLOW ME BELOW: ★☆★ Blog ► https://projectlifemastery.com/?utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_campaign=homepage-promo&utm_term=investing-for-beginners&utm_content=lc-youtube-description Twitter ► https://projectlifemastery.com/twitter Twitter ► https://twitter.com/stefanjames23 Facebook ► https://projectlifemastery.com/facebook Facebook ► https://www.facebook.com/stefanjames23 Instagram ► https://projectlifemastery.com/instagram Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/stefanjames23 Snapchat ► https://www.projectlifemastery.com/snapchat Periscope ► https://projectlifemastery.com/periscope iTunes Podcast ► https://projectlifemastery.com/itunes ★☆★ MY PRODUCTS & COURSES: ★☆★ Morning Ritual Mastery ► https://projectlifemastery.com/morningritualmasterycourse/?utm_term=investing-for-beginners Affiliate Marketing Mastery ► https://projectlifemastery.com/affiliatemarketingmasterycourse/?utm_term=investing-for-beginners Kindle Money Mastery ► https://projectlifemastery.com/kmoneymasterycourse/?utm_term=investing-for-beginners 24 Hour Book ► https://projectlifemastery.com/24hourbookcourse/?utm_term=investing-for-beginners Kindle Optimizer ► https://projectlifemastery.com/koptimizercourse/?utm_term=investing-for-beginners ★☆★ WANT TO BE COACHED BY ME? ★☆★ You can apply for my 1-on-1 and group coaching programs here: http://projectlifemastery.com/coaching ★☆★ RECOMMENDED RESOURCES: ★☆★ https://projectlifemastery.com/resources/?utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_campaign=plm-resources-page-promo&utm_term=investing-for-beginners&utm_content=lc-youtube-description If you found this video valuable, give it a like. These are my recommendations and strategies that I’ve figured out along the way, that you can utilize to really make the most out of your 20’s, financially. Enjoy! Add me on Instagram: GPStephan The YouTube Creator Academy: Learn EXACTLY how to get your first 1000 subscribers on YouTube, rank videos on the front page of searches, grow your following, and turn that into another income source: https://bit.ly/2STxofv $100 OFF WITH CODE 100OFF (Limited Time Only) Merch: http://www.GrahamStephanStore.com/ My ENTIRE Camera and Recording Equipment: https://www.amazon.com/shop/grahamstephan?listId=2TNWZ7RP1P1EB First thing, if you’re in your 20’s…INVEST EVERYTHING, IMMEDIATELY. $1 invested at 20 years old at a 7% return will be worth $21 at the age of 65. However…if you wait, and invest that same $1 at 30 years old, it’ll only be worth $10.68 at the age of 65. This means your money is worth TWICE AS MUCH when you’re 20 years old, than when you’re 30 years old. Open up a Roth IRA immediately, and contribute to it. First, you’re probably not making a ton of money right now, so you’re already in a really low tax bracket - this means VERY little money is lost to taxes upfront, leaving you with MORE money left over to invest. Second, you’re young enough that you’ll have DECADES of growth that’ll be tax free when you’re older - and that means more money in your pocket Saving 10% of your income, like so many financial advisors recommend, is just not enough. 10% is a start, but when you consider just how much money you can make in compound interest in your 20’s, you should ideally get in the habit of saving and investing MORE upfront, because your money is worth more NOW than it will be in the future. That’s why I think it’s so important to LIVE WHILE YOU’RE BROKE IN YOUR 20’S. Your 20’s are a free-pass to live like your broke, because no one expects you to have anything, anyway.. Second: If you want to be wealthy in your 30’s, you should start your own business in your 20’s. Here’s the magic of doing this: with the internet, there has never been more of a level playing field in terms of building wealth. The best way to make a ton of money and become wealthy, is by starting a business, and have that business be mobile. Most of the time, a business will make you WAY more money than your investments will EVER make. So when you’re in your 20’s, PLAY TO WIN and make as much money as you can. Then, WITH THAT MONEY, invest “NOT TO LOSE” so you actually keep it. That way, you’ll always have your foundation working for you, no matter what…so remember, be aggressive with business, be safe with investments. Third: TAKE RISKS. You have a VERY unique time right now where, if you try something and fail, you have plenty of time to recover. If you lose money, it’s no big deal. If something doesn’t work out, oh well, it’s not the end of the world. This also applies to INVESTING in your 20’s, as well…you can make much riskier investments, because you have a much longer timeframe to recover from any losses. Fourth: Reconsider College. Honestly, for most people who really want to become WEALTHY early in life - college does very little for you. In fact, most of the time it’ll set you back between the cost of college, and the opportunity cost of wasting 4 years in a classroom where you could be out there actually doing something. Fifth: AVOID LIFESTYLE INFLATION. If you make more money, keep your expenses the same - don’t change a thing - and invest the difference. Sixth: Stay away from bad debt. If your DEBT isn’t MAKING you money, AVOID IT. Plain and simple. For business or one-on-one real estate investing/real estate agent consulting inquiries, you can reach me at [email protected]

Warren Buffett needs little introduction. He's the godfather of modern-day investing. For nearly 50 years, Buffett has run Berkshire Hathaway, which owns over 60 companies, like Geico and Dairy Queen, plus minority stakes in Apple, Coca-Cola, and many others. His $82.5 billion fortune makes him the third richest person in the world. And he's vowed to give nearly all of it away. The Oracle of Omaha is here to talk about what shaped his investment strategy and how to master today's market. I'm Andy Serwer. Welcome to a special edition of "Influencers" from Omaha, Nebraska. It's my pleasure to welcome Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett. Warren, welcome. WARREN BUFFETT: Thanks for coming. ANDY SERWER: So let's start off and talk about the economy a little bit. And obviously, we've been on a good long run here. WARREN BUFFETT: A very long run. ANDY SERWER: And does that surprise you? And what would be the signs that you would look for to see that things were winding down? WARREN BUFFETT: Well, I look at a lot of figures just in connection with our businesses. I like to get numbers. So I'm getting reports in weekly in some businesses, but that doesn't tell me what the economy's going to six months from now or three months from now. It tells me what's going on now with our businesses. And it really doesn't make any difference in what I do today in terms of buying stocks or buying businesses what those numbers tell me. They're interesting, but they're not guides to me. Precious Metals need to be a part of your investment portfolio! I have been buying precious metals like gold and silver for a while now and I think that everyone needs to be investing in them. I currently have about 15% of my money in precious metals and 85% in my 401K retirement plan. I am also working on paying off my house. I think that everyone needs to have at least 5% of their money in precious metals in case SHTF happens. It is always smart to plan ahead and be prepared for anything! When it comes to investments it is also great to have something like precious metals that you can actually hold in your hand! I will continue to be investing in precious metals like gold and silver in the future so that I can be prepared. 🔴 Monk's Market Mastery: http://bit.ly/MonkMA 🔴 How to invest in the stock market for beginners in 2019. This is the best guide on investing in stocks for beginners. Step 1, understanding investing in the stock market. I answer some frequently asked questions. What is the stock market? The stock market is a place where shares of companies are traded. If you buy a piece of a company like Apple, you own a very small piece of apple. How does a stock price more up and down? It moves by supply and demand, the more demand or good news a company has, the higher the price of the stock. Why do I want to invest? You want to buy shares of stocks because your money goes up with the company. How much can I make by investing? An average of 10% a year is a good amount to make by investing. Should I invest in the long term or short term. Long term is much safer and can still make you good money, short term is very unsafe but can make you more profits. How much do I need to start investing? You'll want at least $1000 and no debt to start investing. Can the market crash? The market crashes every 10 years so it is possible. Saving more cash is a good hedge against market crashes. Step 2, opening a brokerage account. You can open a brokerage with your personal bank and start trading stocks. Other options are Robinhood for free trading in America. Step 3, choosing your first step. Your first stock should be something close to your heart, something you use daily and understand. If you use Iphones, then do research on Apple as your first company. Step 4, valuing a stock. As a beginner, all you need to know now is the price to earnings ratio. The p/e ratio tells you about how much profit a company makes in the past year. You'll need many more valuation ratios for more advanced levels of stock picking. Step 5, creating a complete portfolio. A full portfolio might look something like this. 50% in the S&P 500 index fund, 50% in single stocks like Apple stock, Microsoft stock, Facebook stock, Paypal stock, and AMD stock. Step 6, keeping up with current events and stock price. Keep track of your stock on a stock tracking website and seeing how it moves with the news. Once you understand how a stock moves up and down, you'll have more experience for more risky trades. This is everything a beginner in the stock market needs to start investing.

💵 Monk's Market Mastery: http://bit.ly/MonkMA 💵 How much do i need to start trading stocks in the stock market? If you're American and have access to Robinhood, a free stock trading app, you can trade with as little as $20. Some really cheap stocks you can buy are AMD stock at $12. Paypal stock at $77. Walmart stock at $84. Micron stock at $53. With such a small amount, the best you can do is doubling your money. Without access to Robinhood, you should only trade with a minimum of $1000. Because most brokerages has a fee of $7 to buy and $7 to sell, making one trade costing you $14. $14 out of $100 is 14%, but $14 out of $1000 is only 1.4%, that's not a bad amount to get past. Imagine making 25% with your $1000, giving you an extra $250, $14 goes to fees, you'll have a profit of $236 instead, that's still a good 24% increase. The more money you can trade with, the less the fees matter. Start with at least $1000, and use this for the experience, not for the small amount of profits you can get.

Change your traditional thinking of how to invest. Challenge the knowledge that you think you have to have to participate in the market. I always say the type of account and the order that you start those accounts makes more of a difference than the individual components within those accounts. I spoke with a friend of mine the other day who was in his 60's and he told me he never thought he could research enough to identify the right stocks to buy. He then asked me how I decide which stocks to buy. Without saying a word I pulled out my phone, turned it over and revealed the fruit symbol logo on the back! He then looked at me and said "I finally get it, nice!" It can be as simple as that! Don't underestimate your potential... However, everyone has a $0 dollar to $5500 benefit every year to tax protect the investment income you will generate over your life. ($11,000) for married couples. If you want to invest outside those accounts, just make sure you understand the tax implications of those trades. I say it's better to start with the longer term passive approach first to get yourself used to the ups and downs of the market and protect yourself from the fees and taxes that will be assessed without the protection of the self managed Roth IRA. Here it is: You can own/trade individual stocks, etf's, own index funds and limited partnerships or bond funds all within your roth ira account! The secret is in the type of account you need to start. The self managed account. You will not hear this from your financial planner. This relatively new service is available to anyone who opts to take charge of their own financial future and can do so by starting a self-managed Roth IRA. Any roth account will provide tax shelter and allow for contributions and earnings to be withdrawn at age 59.5 years old. However, only a self-managed account can maximize profits through wealth preservation by eliminating fees charged to traditional investment accounts. Cumulative growth, dividend re-investment and compounding interest can all work to maximum potential for you free of the damaging effect of fees from traditional managed account types. It's an exciting time to be an independent investor. Accelerate your returns by building a passive or active portfolio using my 22 years of experience and foundational approaches that are easy to understand and take little to no experience. Just a little initiative will result in stepping into a whole new world of accelerated profits and financial security for you, and your family. No too accounts are the same. Investment tolerances differ. That makes it even more important for you to pay attention to and learn some of the basic terminology, potentials, account types and use them to align your specific financial plan with your financial future. See what it's like to become an Independent Investor. It may be the most financially liberating move you could ever make in your life!

💜 Monk's Market Mastery: http://bit.ly/MonkMA 💜 These are the best index funds to invest in the stock market in 2019. These top index fund ETFs are very good for the passive investor. I'll go over why these ETFs are good to invest in, expected returns in the stock market, and the best method to buy these index funds. The most popular and well known index fund is the S&P 500, or the Standard and Poor's 500. This index fund contains 500 American companies such as Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Facebook, and Google. This index fund has an average return of 10% a year in the past 100 years. This means you could become a millionaire if you invested just 300 dollars in this index. This is a very safe stock in the stock market because there are 500 companies in one fund. The stock market can crash, causing a dip of 20 to 60%, but over the long term, it'll likely go back up. You can buy the S&P 500 using the ticker symbol VOO in the stock market. The Nasdaq 100 is a great index fund in the market. It contains 100 technology related companies. This index fund is more volatile since 100 companies is less safe than 500. The Nasdaq 100 is for people who prefer to be invested in technology, while the S&P 500 is for people who want to diversify more. The Nasdaq 100 had higher returns than the S&P 500 over the past 10 years. These are both great index funds to invest in the stock market. Perfect stocks for the passive investor who still want to reach a million dollars.

Learn and apply from this motivational advice. Here is the summary of 8 habits, Habit #8 No Credit Credit is simply a rattrap hidden behind a bed of roses. Most of us, at some or the other point in our life, have fallen into the trap of taking credit to fulfill our monetary needs. From family members to friends, from colleagues to vendors that we closely work with, credit is a monetary tool which must be used only when it is absolutely necessary and not otherwise. Most of us instantly choose to use the instrument of credit failing to realize that we might not be in a position to repay it on time. Habit #7 Maintain your Accounts While it may seem like a cumbersome job at first, but maintaining your accounts is the wisest way to get hold of your finances and monitor them closely. Often we end up spending more than we save and push ourselves in a situation of monetary imbalance. The sole reason as to why we end up in this situation is because of our lack of accounting. When you maintain an account of your incomes and expenses, you will not only become watchful of what you spend but you will also be amazed at the wonders it does in terms of saving. Habit #6 Leave Bad Habits A wise person has rightly said, no one can harm us more than we can harm ourselves. Imagine spending a sum of Rs. 50 every day, this daily expenditure which seems like a petty amount totals up to Rs. 1500 every month. This is the approximate amount that a person spends on injurious habits like smoking, alcohol or taking drugs. If you choose to give up a bad habit, it will not only be easy on your pocket but it will also help you in maintaining your health and increasing your life’s longevity. Habit #5 Records Apart from maintaining accounts, there is one more significant step that every person must necessarily follow for financial independence. This step is the maintenance of records. By records, we mean the different legal and formal documents of importance that every citizen of India is bound to maintain by law. Habit #4 Save and Invest Investing is an art that every person needs to know in order to be financially stable in life. Savings on the other hand form the base of investments. In order to invest, it is but obvious that you need to start saving a part of what you earn. Investing in the right practices will help you gain beneficial returns in the long term. If you begin investing early, you will have ample savings for yourself and your family, years down the line. Habit #3 Buy in bulk Why spend more on things that we already know we will keep on needing? The habit of buying in bulk is particularly useful when it comes to purchasing necessities. Why pay the full price for a bag of rice when you know that you will need it again for the next month? In situations like these, the concept of bulk buying comes into play. Quantities of Purchase and Price have an inverse relationship. #2 Save your health We spend a major chunk of our lives trying to earn as much as we can without giving any due importance to our physical and mental health. It is imperative to understand the simple fact that we will be able to fulfill our financial dreams only when we pay due attention to our health and wellness. #1 Never Stop Learning The biggest multimillionaires in the world are the ones who never stop learning. If you want to become someone like Warren Buffet or Bill Gates, you need to keep adapting to changes and learn to be dynamic, just like they are. http://MortgagesInVancouver.com Hi, everyone. How are you? It's Leah Coss with The Mortgage Centre. I don't know if this is picking up on the video, but I've got [laughs] the sliding door open, and we've got a crazy amount of frogs outside our place. So try to ignore them if you can hear frogs chirping and my dog growling at miscellaneous things outside. But I wanted to talk to you about down payments because, with all these new rules, there are a lot of rumors going around that the down payment has changed to 10 percent or 20 percent or 15 percent. There's all these different rumors going around, because if you didn't know, April 9th as well as April 19th are two very big days in the mortgage industry. Rules are changing, as of the 9th, with mortgage insurers, and then, on the 19th, the government mandated new rules are coming out. So, I wanted to go over all of the different situations that you could possibly encounter and what those down payment amounts are. When it comes to a regular, owner occupied place, even if it's an owner occupied place with a basement suite, those are still just five percent down. Nothing has changed there. It's not 10 percent or anything like that. It is five percent down. Now, one aspect that has changed when it comes to an owner occupied thing is, only for people who are self employed and only, as well, if they are doing the stated income programs that are out there. If you're curious what the stated income programs are, just refer to my blog. It'll tell you some more about those. But only if you are doing the self employed stated income program is your down payment going to be 10 percent. Other than that, any other owner occupied is still just five percent. Now, if you're buying a second home, owner occupied, so this means like a vacation home, or perhaps you live out in the country and you've got a condo in the city to make it easier for going to work, those are also five percent down, because they're second homes, owner occupied. The only time that you're looking at a different down payment is if it's a rental or investment property. This means it is a home that you are not living in and you're renting out a home or the suites. Those, in those cases, are 20 percent down. So that's really the only percentages that need to be thrown out there. You've got five percent down for anything that's owner occupied, even if it's a second home, 20 percent down for any rental or investment properties, and only if you're using the self employed stated income program for an owner occupied home is it a 10 percent down. So, hopefully, that'll clear you up. If you have any questions at all, as always, give me a call. You can also email me. My contact info is on the site. And any questions, I'm always happy to help. Thanks so much.
