What mess do they give for OCD in America? The doctor won't give me any dam thing no therapy no med nothing! I'm a hoarder and I have panic attacks along with other issues and they won't help in uk :-/ . Tbh if I could get med I would I don't see anything wrong with you use of medicine why on earth do people judge everyone omg. Hope you had a lovely new year from @samantasienna c u on ig
I’ve literally been watching your videos off and on for over 10 years and just started back with vlogmas! And I have to say that you seem so freakin happy in these and I’m so proud of you for talking about your struggles and going to therapy/being on medications. You are so real and that’s awesome to see!
Hi Blair, I am new to your channel...I don't know how I got here. Anyway, I am so shocked!!! I can't believe that the same exact way that your mom taught you how to wrap gifts, down to the tape tip for the ribbon is EXACTLY how I learned to wrap gifts when I was a little girl in South America!! I always thought it to be unique of my birth country but now I am wowed that your mom knows those same exact ways!!! lol That is so interesting to me!! xo
I love ALL your vlogs, "exciting" and sitting in front of the camera. My husband and his mom both battle with OCD, you are so brave to share that with us and I admire that so much! (I've been "saving up" says of your vlogmas so I could binge watch them this weekend, so I'm a bit late to comment here.🤷🏻♀️
Anyone who judges on how you treat your illnesses, just doesn’t get it. Everyone is different and you need to do what’s right and what works for you. I too suffer from anxiety and ocd. I try to do things on my own but am considering meds. Would love to see you do a video about it.
There is no shame in taking medication for your mental illnesses. If there is a chemical imbalance in your brain, you should take medicine for it - just as if you have a broken arm, you put a cast on it.
I have severe anxiety and I am a full believer that whatever helps you is great for you. It drives me crazy when other people think they know what's best for me, and I'm like no! Just because it works for you or what you believe works, doesn't mean it'll work for me.
Taking medication for mental illness can be really great if you're taking what works for you! unfortunately I've never been able to find a medicine for my depression/anxiety that doesn't make me feel like a zombie
I absolutely love your videos your natural personality is so funny and entertaining!! And taking medication for your anxiety and OCD is the right thing for you that’s awesome you’re getting such great results from it! Happy holidays ❤️❤️💕
Blair! I felt comforted and known when you shared about the details of your OCD and picking up your medication. I take medication for depression and used to take PRN medication for panic attacks. The way that you brought up your situation was genuine and real, not glamorized at all. I appreciate that, a lot. Today, although advocacy for mental health is needed, a lot of people can go to the other end of the spectrum and glamorize mental illness. Keep shining, I have adored your videos since 2008-ish, and have SO enjoyed your newer vlogs. The ways you share about routine and life's simple pleasures bringing you joy are also so relatable! I love getting to pick out my coffee mug too, and sometimes, that small pleasure gets me grooving. Sending love and care! Love, Kara and Yodi (my pup) From TX!
I have OCD severe anxiety disorder and struggle with eating disorders and medication has saved my life. do NOT feel like you have to explain yourself. I'm so glad you talk about this because it makes me I'm sure a lot of other people feel like were not alone
Girl!! Do not feel like you have to explain yourself when it comes to treating your OCD or anxiety!!!! You do what helps YOU and ignore what negative things some people might say. What helps someone else might not help you. Mental illnesses are just that.. ILLNESSES. You wouldn’t second guess someone who had another illness taking medicine there doctor prescribed.. so why second guess someone taking a prescribed medicine for their mental illness?
Good for you for following your doctor's advice since the medication has helped you so much. I would really, really appreciate if you would say which medication has worked so well for you to manage your anxiety. I deal with panic attacks, and I would love to know what has helped you so I can ask my own doctor if they think the medication might be helpful for me too. Panic attacks are the worst feeling ever and are so scary when they happen, I would love to have them stop! Thanks very much Blair!
It’s 100% okay if you don’t vlog every single day. Although I do get excited when I see you post, if you don’t feel like vlogging don’t force yourself to put something out for our sake. Love the videos!!
dude, medication has helped so much with my anxiety - without it I just can't think as clearly/rationally. anyone who is telling you that using medication is bad for you is clearly a) not a doctor, b) someone who does not struggle with mental illness, and/or c) has never experienced the feeling of a fog being lifted from your brain when you're using the right medication/dosage. you don't owe anyone an explanation for doing what is right for you and your mental health, so please don't feel like you have to waste your mental energy doing so! I do appreciate you addressing what is becoming an increasingly more common issue, though:)
I have Lyme disease which has caused me to have severe anxiety and OCD in recent years and that in turn has made me very depressed. It was so nice to hear you share about your struggle with anxiety and OCD. Take your medicine if it feels helpful to you and don’t listen to anyone but your doctor if it’s working. If you feel comfortable doing so I would love if you shared more details about your anxiety and OCD in a video coming up. Looking at the comments it seems like a lot of us out here are dealing with similar things and it would feel helpful to us if you are comfortable with it. I’m in a very dark place with my OCD right now and I can’t tell you how helpful it was just seeing one of my favorite people that I watch every day and for years since you started your channel saying that they deal with something similar.
omg <3 I'm so happy you're talking about mental illness by prescribed pills. I'm on medicine for anxiety and I hear everyday how I'm going to be addicted etc etc and I'm just like.... I'm not abusing it, it's helping me.
Blair ! Please don't ever stress out about these vlogs. If you need a day without it then so be it. I know how it feels to be booked up every single day and feel like you don't have a moment to yourself.
I had a baking day with the girls planned and someone got sick. So I spent 4 hours wrapping presents. I'm glad I got it done and now I'm just having a super lazy day at home. And I love it.
Yes your skin is looking amazing!!!! Like really hydrated and amazing!!
I'm so happy you're speaking out about mental illness and medication. I have battled anxiety and for me, both medication and therapy are vital to me living a happy & normal everyday life. Love ya Blaire! xoxo
You both have such strong valley girl accents and I'm sure hanging out together makes them even stronger! Not to mention LA!! I've been watching you and Alexa since the beginning, so I do not really notice it, until my boyfriend makes a comment on it.
Honestly im just excited youre doing vlogmas i dont mind at all if you skip a day here and there. Better to keep yourself sane and do what feels right than to push yourself too hard and then get bad vibes from vlogging. Im hoping the vlogs continue on a somewhat regular basis past Christmas too! I love em! No matter how uneventful lol. (If i vlogged every day of my own life itd be sooooooooo boring haha) love the vlogs! Also very cool of you to open up :)
I’m so glad you’re doing vlogmas this year, yours are the ones that actually make me feel Christmassy when I watch them. I’ve been watching your videos for as long as I can remember and love them all x
@ Jenn t, im glad your is under control. after i graduated from college and started working i developed anxiety and tachycardia. doc put me on a low dose of ativan as needed. best thing ever. Hope youre feeling better. xoxo
Alexa. You can indeed plaster over the hole, the wall is not ruined. You can hang things, you just need to find the stud, and get a power drill. If you can put in the screw by hand, it’s in the dry way and not going to be strong enough to serve it’s purpose. I’m sure there are YouTube tutorials around. ;) Good luck.
It’s great to hear about your taking medication for your mental health. Many people have negative thought but exactly like you say, it’s been helping. Especially since you have a large influence, I’m glad you spoke about it. 😁
a good idea for days that are like "i havent filmed all day what do i do?" you could do like a Q&A video or a challenge video or something :) that way youre not exactly vlogging all day and instead spending just an hour or two to film
Your not killing your brain ! Unless someone suffers from a mental illness they will NEVER understand ! I need pills as well it changes me for the better ! So don't be nervous and ashamed this is a great choice for you only you know what you mind and body needs❤️
#QOTV would you or Elle or Jelly ever have your dad be your OB in the future and deliver his grandkids? Or do you think that's weird? I have heard of people doing it, I don't think I ever could though.
It is your life and we are just so blessed to be able to get a sneak peak into it, so never feel bad if you miss a vlog or something. And honestly, like you said in your previous vlog about that person you watch, you would watch their video even if they were just staring at a wall for the entire thing.. I would watch your videos even if you were doing the same thing lol. So talky vlogs or anything really that you want to show us, is great. You shouldn't have to feel like you need to apologize for anything.
Also, the medication thing, doesnt matter what anyone else thinks about it, it works for you, your doctor prescribed it and that's all that matters.
And I can't wait to see some of your family xmas this year :)
Idk your whole story with anxiety and struggling with OCD, but I think it’s great you are doing what works for you. You know yourself better than anyone else especially your viewers that only see a small portion of your life, so I think it’s important and really great you stay true to you and do what you need to do for yourself.
Trading stocks typically have the lowest fees on eToro, which is one reason why I recommend you stick to this market when starting out.
All trades charge both a spread and daily rollover fees.
It really comes down to individual trading strategies and preference. But to give you an idea, I tend to hold on to stocks for a minimum of 6 months and all other trades tend to have an average duration of about two-three weeks.
A final word on over-trading.
This is a point that I want to expand on a little more, specifically in relation to copying other traders. Below is a screenshot of my equity chart over six months. The red line shows the number of people copying me.

The same holds true for the stock market in general.
