Well you can compare a website to a shop or a piece of land. Whether a site will generate any revenue depends on what you plan to do with the website. If you are selling products or services, you will earn money. You can also display ads on your site if you plan to provide useful content on your site and earn from the ad revenue. So to summarize, Yes website owners can earn if they want. Hope that helps :)
You need to login to your cPanel. Then go to file manager. In file manager, you will see many options on the top. There you'll find the option 'Upload'. This will open a page that will let you upload files to your site. Now you can either upload each individual file. Or you can upload a single compressed zip file that contains all files and folders that you want to upload. Once it's uploaded you can then uncompress the zip file within the file manager. In the file manager, right click on the compressed file you had uploaded and click 'Extract', and click 'Extract File(s)'. And you'll have all your files extracted on your site. Just remember to upload the zip file in the correct location on your site, so it extract where you exactly want it to. Hope that helps :)
Hi Vivek, to use a paid domain, freehosting.com gives you two name server addresses when you register (check your emails). You will have to find the nameserver option on your domain registrar's website and enter those there. It may take 24-72 hours for the domain to show your site.
Definitely I agree free hostings are not safe if you want to start a business that may involve collection of sensitive information like credit card numbers, phone numbers, etc. for example an e-commerce website. For those requirements definitely a paid hosting plan (preferably a dedicated server, if you want total security) from a reputed hosting company is always recommended along with an SSL certificate but these option may end up charging you a lot. Free hosting are perfect if you are starting to get into web design or development and currently cannot invest in a paid hosting. Also if you are want to start a blog or content based website, free options like blogspot and wordpress.com are great option and are pretty safe.
I don't see any relation between web hosting and internet connection. A web hosting can slow down your website, that you hosted on the service. But the hosting site will not affect your internet connection. Please let me know if I misunderstood your question.
The services I mentioned in the video support WordPress, so you can easily register one of these and install WordPress. Then you just need to upload your custom build theme/plugin to the site. You can also export your database if you had been working on the site locally and also created the content. Just make sure not to override the configuration file and wp_options table, as these contain data specific to the site. I hope that helps :)
Hi there, I am glad for your interest in our services. Unfortunately we no longer provide web design / development services and are currently working on some other projects. I definitely think you should try places like oDesk, you can definitely find a good service provider there.
Hi William. I actually haven't worked with nodeJS server. But I did a quick lookup on heroku and I found they allow you to add a custom domain for your apps. You can go ahead and test if the free domain services work in your case, else you can get a good deal on a .com now a days. Here's an article from Heroku about custom domains:
I hope this helps. Keep it up :)
+blade shadow It actually depends. If you are learning HTML, CSS, etc. and want to take full control of the code (best approach), you can start with as simple as a Notepad (TextEdit on Mac). There are also some great text editors with more features like PhpStorm, Sublime Text, Brackets, Atom, and so many more. I bet most web designers use this approach.
There is also a visual design approach, where you use a GUI (Graphics User Interface) to build your web pages and the software writes your code (Which is not much reliable in my opinion). Again there are lot of software for this, but I am not experienced with those. Adobe Dreamweaver is however a popular one.
I hope that answers your question :)
+Sachin George Your hosting company provides a control panel for you to manage your hosting account (cPanel, Plex, etc.). In cPanel, go to your website's address followed by cpanel e.g. yourwebsite.com/cpanel and use your username and password provided by your hosting company. Once you login, you can find 'File Manager' icon, click it and you will get the file manager.
Hope that helps :)
+fasal basha Sure! if you have developed a website using WordPress, you can set it up on a hosting like on your computer (i.e. files and the database).
But if want to start a wordpress site, there is also an option of wordpress.com which itself host your website, just sign up and start creating your site. Hope that helps :)
+Johnny Mar Muaña x10hosting.com has limited it's registration to fewer countries, at the time of the video, it was available in many countries including mine (India). Right now it's also not accepting new registrations from India. You can try some alternatives like freehosting.com which works well.
+Rupesh Hundlekar Sure! That's what the video is all about! Go to the description of my video (above) and register with any of the free hosting providers I mentioned. Once you get your account you can use cPanel (you will find it in the email you get from the provider once your account gets activated) to upload files through the 'File Manager'.
+Asperanik Hosting your website from your own server is not a difficult task. But may be expensive. The main thing you will need is a high speed internet with a good amount of bandwidth and a static IP address. If you are looking to create a simple website, you wont need expensive hardware and can host from even your laptop or desktop. For hosting complex websites or to serve a large number of visitors, you need a more powerful system.
Hello Sri, if you are asking if you can upload videos to your website (that would be hosted on a free hosting) the answer would be unfortunately, No. Since videos require a lot of resources (especially disk space and bandwidth) not even paid hostings, that are not too expensive, allow video uploads. For video uploads only dedicated servers are available which are quite expensive. But why think so much when you can simply upload your video to YouTube for free and use it on your website. I hope that answers your question, please feel free to contact again if you still have any questions. Have a nice day :)
I admit x10 have blocked their service in various countries. Here in India it was blocked for a long time, though now it has been made available again. Actually x10 hosting offer amazing features as a free hosting, that's why I recommended that. I hope its services get restored in Philippines soon :)
Actually I took your advice of using a teleprompter since I am very weak at memorizing lines. So I build a mirror reflection based teleprompter. It is actually helping me gain a lot of confidence. And you are right, with practice I can read more smoothly and add more expressions to my lines :)
Trading stocks typically have the lowest fees on eToro, which is one reason why I recommend you stick to this market when starting out.
All trades charge both a spread and daily rollover fees.
It really comes down to individual trading strategies and preference. But to give you an idea, I tend to hold on to stocks for a minimum of 6 months and all other trades tend to have an average duration of about two-three weeks.
A final word on over-trading.
This is a point that I want to expand on a little more, specifically in relation to copying other traders. Below is a screenshot of my equity chart over six months. The red line shows the number of people copying me.
My equity vs copiers chart.
The same holds true for the stock market in general.
Long-term growth of UK stock market.
